INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE INTERMODAL DRIVER DATABASE (IDD)

IDD Web Site Security

All Driver Data is stored on secure IANA servers.

The IDD website uses SSL 128 encryption for all data sent between the web site and your browser. Most browsers will display a "closed padlock" on the information bar to indicated that encryption is in use.

This is the same level of encryption that most commercial web sites and banks use for processing web based transactions. Click here for a more complete description of SSL 128.

PASSWORDS

Your Master password and all subsidary passwords are under your control and can be changed by the Master account at anytime. The UIIA can reset your Master Password at your request.

To change your Master Password please forward your request, via email, to Peggy.Mullen@intermodal.org or a href="mailto:sherry.parnell@intermodal.org?subject=UIIA Password Change Request">Sherry.Parnell@intermodal.org. Once the request to change the Master Password has been confirmed, the UIIA will make the change and advise when the new password has been activated.

As reporting features from the IDD are added they will also be under the control of your Master Password. All will be disabled by default when they are added. You'll be notified of the new report features as they become available and can choose to use them or not.
